Have A Go Evenings

Have A Go Evenings are introductory session in the rehabilitation centres to make people aware of the opportunities available in wheelchair sports. It is a 2-hour session for individuals to watch demonstrations, learn about the opportunity to try. OWSA provides all the necessary equipment to make it a positive active living experience.

 

 

Have A Go Days

Have A Go Days are introductory sessions in the community. It is a full day session for individuals in the community where individuals will familiarize themselves with opportunities in sport, the rules and then a chance to give it a go. Athletes will to demonstrate the sports and share their personal experiences of being physically active. OWSA provides all the necessary equipment for each sport. Opportunity to meet people who want to become active or are already active in the community.

Developmental Programs

Once individuals have found a sport of interest, they can begin to learn and play the sport on an ongoing basis through developmental programs. It is an opportunity to build skills in a fun and supportive atmosphere with other individuals that are new to the sport.
